JUDGING CRITERIA

Judging

You must be available on the FINAL, the 20th April 2024. 6pm – 11 latest.

Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced – routines should be between 3 – 4 mins. Instructor & Pro should be between 3:30 – 4:30. ALL video entries should be a maximum of 3 minutes.

Scoring: 10 points are available in each section.

Flow: How did your routine link together, was it smooth and confidently delivered? Were transitions clean?

Stage Presence: Did you engage with the audience, do you show confidence, command attention?

Floor Work: Does your floorwork suit your song, is it fluid, clean, original?

Tricks: Are tricks well-chosen and well executed with clean entry and exit? Points are not awarded for difficulty – rather suitability and execution. To score well in this section, you will still need to include enough tricks to show clean entry and execution. A few well-chosen tricks is enough. Tricks do include sits and climbs.

Provocation: Is the routine stripper style, sexy, sensual, dirty, raw, powerful, commanding?

Costume: Does your costume match your style, is it well fitted. (You may go down to thong/g string) Please try to avoid any spills! 😉 We do not deduct points for single/accidental spills, however if you are needing to make constant adjustments to a poorly fitting costume, this would be noted.

MUSIC:

Music. Offensive and discriminatory material must be avoided. When in doubt contact the organiser. The “N word” should be bleeped out in all instances, with the exception of music used by Black competitors. Swearing is permitted.
